During Pregnancy

During pregnancy we know how important it is to reevaluate the products you are putting on and inside your body. That’s why our organic, VMAGIC® Vulva Balm is perfect for soothing belly skin as it stretches and becomes itchy.  Leading up to birth use the Vulva Balm for perineal skin massage to help prevent tearing during vaginal birth. During pregnancy, when discharge can increase, switch out your traditional body wash for our fragrance free, VMAGIC® Vulva Wash. It gently cleanses without disrupting your natural pH.

There are no ingredients that should restrict use during pregnancy. However, we always recommend consulting with your physician before starting any personal care regimen while pregnant or trying to conceive.

Are Medicine Mama products estrogen free?

All of our products are hormone and soy free.

How much should I apply?

Vmagic vulva balm can be applied as liberally and as often as you like. We recommend starting with a small amount and working your way up as desired.

How fast can I expect to see results?

Results vary, but in a clinical study 79% of users found immediate relief and 92% saw a reduction in dryness with continued use in as little as two weeks.

Do I only need this kit during postpartum?

    Fantastic!

    When I first started having trouble in this area, I switched laundry detergent and body wash and hair shampoo because after showering it was painful. I had to be careful when I showered as to not have my washes get near my area. I couldn’t even enjoy my showers. This product is absolutely the best. No irritation at all. I can use it directly to cleanse my area. So happy to finally find relief!
