It’s important to clarify something that is often misunderstood. A healthy vagina does not need deodorizing. It maintains its own internal balance. The vulva, however, contains sweat glands and can develop a mild, normal scent, particularly after exercise, heat exposure, or hormonal shifts.

That scent doesn’t mean something is wrong. If you notice a strong, fishy, or unusual odor, that may indicate infection and should be evaluated by a healthcare provider.

VMAGIC® Vulva Wash is fragrance-free, which helps avoid irritation that can sometimes worsen odor concerns rather than improve them. The goal of cleansing is comfort and hygiene, not masking normal scent.

VMAGIC Vulva Wash is for external use only. Douching (or flushing liquid into the vaginal canal) is not recommended. Internal cleansing can disrupt the vaginal microbiome and increase the risk of imbalance.

The vagina regulates itself naturally, so cleansing should focus exclusively on the external vulvar skin. Using a feminine wash correctly means respecting that boundary.

For best results:

1. Use during showering or bathing.
2. Apply a small amount to the external vulvar area.
3. Gently cleanse the labia and surrounding tissue.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
5. Pat dry gently with a soft towel.

Do not insert the product into the vagina. 

Frequency depends on your body and lifestyle. Some women prefer once-daily use. Others may use it after exercise or during times of increased sweating.

You are right, the Vagina is like a  "self cleaning oven" and you do not need to wash or cleanse it. However, the Vulva is a different story. If you choose to wash your Vulva (Mons Pubis, Labia Minora, Labia Majora, Clitoris and Vaginal Opening-the external skin) it is best to use a mild, gentle cleanser or warm water alone.

Oftentimes foam is created by using harsh surfactants (think SLS) and while those may be ok for some other types of skin it is not recommended to use on your delicate vulva skin.

Our vulva wash is developed specifically to support the pH of your vulva (slightly more acidic than the vagina) and not disrupt it with fragrance or harsh ingredients.

We have intentionally left out fragrance as it can be disruptive to your natural microbiome. More often than not if you have an odor there is a bigger underlying problem that you should check in with your physician about. A fragranced cleanser can mask a bigger issue.

All of our products are hormone and soy free.

There is no need for expensive scented soaps (in fact, they could be detrimental!). Un scented, gentle, or natural feminine washes especially formulated for this area are key.
